Process Engineer – Value Stream

About the role

Bosch Group is looking for a Process Engineer focused on Value Stream activities to lead new product line setup, release and continuous improvement at its Penang manufacturing plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute new product line setup, workstation buy‑off and release in alignment with TEF1, MAE and EWAK investments.
• Perform trial runs, machine and process capability studies, and introduce SPC where applicable.
• Prepare line release documentation and conduct manufacturing line buy‑off before pilot runs or mass production.
• Lead failure analysis, support quality problem resolution (PSS, 8D) and manage additional launch release projects.
• Drive process improvement projects through time studies, ergonomic and technology upgrades, and monitor KPI performance.
• Train trainers, supervisors and maintenance staff, and supervise VSE/FA technicians to ensure efficient value‑stream activities.

Required profile

• Proven ability to train and guide trainers, supervisors and maintenance personnel.
• Experience supervising VSE/FA technicians and managing value‑stream improvement activities.
• Strong analytical skills for failure analysis, process capability studies and KPI monitoring.
