Process Engineer – Measuring Tools Value Stream

About the role

As a Process Engineer in the Measuring Tools Value Stream, you will drive the setup and release of new product lines at Bosch's Penang manufacturing plant. You will ensure that workstations, machines and processes meet quality and productivity targets, supporting both pilot runs and mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute new product line setup, including MAE and EWAK investments.
• Perform trial runs, buy‑offs, and line release documentation for workstations and accessories.
• Conduct machine and process capability studies and introduce SPC where applicable.
• Train trainers, supervisors and maintenance staff on technical and process knowledge.
• Monitor VSE/FA technician performance and drive value‑stream improvement activities.
• Lead process‑improvement projects such as time studies, ergonomic and workstation enhancements.
• Support quality problem resolution using PSS or 8D methodologies.
• Track KPI performance, report results and develop action plans.

Required profile

• Experience in new product introduction and manufacturing line start‑up.
• Ability to lead value‑stream design, scaling and lean line design activities.
• Strong analytical skills for failure analysis and KPI monitoring.
