Process and Equipment Engineer (Acceleration Sensors)

About the role

As a Process and Equipment Engineer for Acceleration Sensors, you will ensure the reliable operation of test equipment at Bosch's new semiconductor testing plant in Batu Kawan. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the machinery that validates sensor and semiconductor components.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and calibration of test machines according to the maintenance plan.
• Investigate equipment downtime, carry out mechanical, electrical and electronic repairs, and certify readiness against engineering specifications.
• Identify and repair faults on measurement boards and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Align equipment mechanically and electrically following supplier specifications.
• Adapt and extend circuit diagrams autonomously to meet engineering requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for equipment supplier inquiries, monitor deadlines and discuss technical issues.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop strategies that reduce failures, improve quality and output, and lower costs.
• Analyze carrier failures, perform repairs, and conduct carrier maintenance and commissioning.
• Ensure all modifications are approved and aligned with lead‑plant engineering standards.
• Support FMEA activities and maintain the control plan.

Required profile

• Ability to follow and execute detailed maintenance plans.
• Experience investigating and resolving equipment failures.
• Capability to work closely with suppliers and internal engineering teams.
