Primary Teacher – Cambridge Curriculum

About the role

The Primary Teacher will deliver high‑quality, engaging and inclusive learning experiences for students at Straits International School Rawang, following the Cambridge Primary curriculum and the ISP Learning First approach. The role requires a reflective practitioner who maintains high expectations, supports academic, social and emotional development, and contributes positively to the school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary curriculum.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback to learners and parents, and maintain an organised classroom environment.
• Implement effective behaviour management and support students’ wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues, communicate regularly with parents, and participate in school events.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Bachelor of Education, QTS or equivalent).
• Experience delivering the Cambridge International curriculum and integrating technology into teaching.
• High expectations for learners and a growth‑mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Cambridge International Primary curriculum.
• Ability to integrate educational technology into learning.
