Pre-Primary 1 Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Pre‑Primary 1 Teaching Assistant to join Asia Pacific Smart School in Klang Valley, Malaysia, commencing January 2026. Reporting to the Primary Principal, you will support high‑quality teaching and help create effective learning resources for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Support school policies, procedures and practices that promote high achievement and Amazing Learning.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to support students’ spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development.
• Provide targeted assistance to individuals and small groups, including under‑achieving or special‑needs learners.
• Assist teachers during lessons by managing classroom activities, resources and reinforcing learning.
• Help monitor student progress by collecting observations and data for planning and intervention.
• Contribute to co‑curricular activities, school events and marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma in Education, Child Development, Early Childhood Education or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Patient, nurturing, proactive with a positive attitude toward young learners.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Computer literate with ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools.
