Plant & Machinery Manager (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a Plant & Machinery Manager to lead the batching plant operations and oversee all machinery and equipment for our property development projects in Kota Kinabalu. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to senior management and plays a critical role in ensuring efficient, safe, and cost‑effective plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the batching plant, ensuring production targets are met.
• Manage the maintenance, allocation, and performance of construction machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate with project teams to align plant output with construction schedules.
• Implement health, safety and environmental standards across plant and equipment activities.
• Monitor inventory of raw materials, spare parts and consumables.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements to increase productivity.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience overseeing batching plant operations within a construction or property development environment.
• Strong background in managing a fleet of construction machinery and related equipment.
• Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively with project stakeholders and uphold safety standards.
