Plant Asset Coordinator & Central Ordering Specialist

About the role

The Plant Asset Coordinator & Central Ordering Specialist will act as the plant’s central SAP ordering coordinator, ensuring timely procurement of equipment, spare parts, tooling and other assets that support production, maintenance, new‑product introduction and capacity expansion at Bosch’s new semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan.

Key responsibilities

• Create, process and monitor Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Finance and Project teams to guarantee accurate and on‑time order execution.
• Maintain visibility of outstanding orders, delivery commitments and asset registration.
• Identify potential delays, escalate risks and work with suppliers to expedite critical orders.
• Support budgeting owners by ensuring procurement aligns with project milestones for NPI, factory ramp‑up, capacity expansion and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage equipment transfers, asset tagging and hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP/ERP procurement modules.
• Experience handling Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders within SAP.
