Payroll & People Data Analyst – Mandarin Speaker (12‑month lease)

About the role

We are looking for a Mandarin‑speaking Payroll & People Data Analyst to join our team in Kuala Lumpur on a 12‑month lease arrangement. You will support business units by delivering accurate payroll processing, HR data management, and advisory services while ensuring compliance with local legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain data quality and integrity for payroll and HR information.
• Process personnel administration requests across multiple channels and coordinate with payroll, finance, analytics, and external providers.
• Manage end‑to‑end termination workflows, including leave calculations, payments, and exit clearance.
• Administer time‑and‑attendance records, manual allowances/deductions, work schedules, and shift substitutions.
• Support payroll inputs such as employee subsidies, fleet management, and long‑service awards.
• Assist with salary review cycles, preparing data, letters, and new salary entries.
• Handle statutory HR reporting and local labour administration to meet legal deadlines.
• Design and deliver custom country‑specific reports when standard analytics tools are insufficient.
• Provide advisory support on HR policies, system usage, and legislative updates.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of payroll and HR data processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers.
• Proactive attitude toward process improvement, automation, and digitalisation.
• Fluent Mandarin language skills.
