Pastry Chef (Food Scientist) – Lead Innovation

About the role

Pastry World is seeking a Pastry Chef with a strong food science background to lead the development of frozen cake and pastry products from concept to market launch. This full‑time, on‑site position will drive innovation and ensure commercial success of new offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire product development cycle for frozen cakes and pastries, from ideation through commercialization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate consumer insights into viable product concepts.
• Oversee recipe formulation, ingredient selection, and production scaling.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards throughout development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pastry product development and food science.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to launch in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
