Operator, Packaging II

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Operator, Packaging II to join our production team in Pasir Gudang, Johor. The role involves operating packaging equipment on alternate shifts, ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety standards, and supporting smooth product runs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify packaging materials (bags, labels, pallets, trays) ensuring they are clean and in good condition.
• Operate and start‑up packaging equipment such as auto‑packaging, big‑bag stations, and semi‑auto sealing machines.
• Monitor label systems, stock levels, and process logs; report any abnormalities to the Production Supervisor.
• Perform routine quality checks, line flushing, and cleaning during product changeovers.
• Follow SOPs, ISO‑related procedures, and emergency response actions.
• Maintain housekeeping, conduct shift handovers, and support internal audits for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949.

Required profile

• Minimum SPM certificate or equivalent engineering qualification.
• 2–5 years experience in a chemical‑based manufacturing environment.
• Valid Forklift Driving License.
• Familiarity with the 5S system and basic knowledge of ISO standards.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (licensed).
• 5S workplace organization.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
