Operations Analysis Engineer

About the role

The Operations Analysis Engineer is part of KONE’s Remote Monitoring and Support team. From the Global Operations Centre you will identify elevator and escalator faults remotely, collaborate with field personnel and help ensure smooth performance for KONE customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Live‑monitor assigned elevators and escalators, detect abnormalities and breakdowns, and promptly escalate critical events.
• Conduct daily fault analysis, prepare reports for service teams and customers, and ensure scheduled reports are delivered on time.
• Follow up with local service teams on corrective actions, perform monthly trend analysis to uncover recurring failures and improvement opportunities.
• Collect, validate and manage operational data for performance studies, support ad‑hoc investigations, and recommend technical improvements.
• Assist with deployment and testing of new monitoring hardware, digital tools and software upgrades, and maintain accurate documentation of all activities.

Required profile

• Understanding of electrical circuits, diagrams and components.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for both hardware and software.
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and system administration.
• Experience in data handling, analysis and interpretation to support operational decisions.
• Experience with remote‑monitoring, IoT solutions or internet‑connectivity projects is a plus.
