Modern Trade Sales Executive – FMCG / Supermarket

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Modern Trade Sales Executive to grow our FMCG brand’s presence across supermarkets in Penang. You will work closely with the Key Account Manager to expand modern trade accounts, achieve sales targets and build lasting relationships with retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage modern trade accounts in the supermarket channel.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective merchandising and promotions.
• Negotiate shelf space, pricing and promotional activities with retail buyers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and share insights with the sales team.
• Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with the Key Account Manager on strategy and execution.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in FMCG or retail environments.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel locally and manage out‑station visits.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills.
