Mobility Specialist – 12‑Month Contract (Kuala Lumpur)

About the role

The Mobility Specialist will provide expert consulting and advisory support for inbound and outbound expatriate assignments across APAC. This 12‑month fixed‑term position ensures a seamless transfer experience for employees, HR partners, and management while maintaining compliance with global and regional policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end advisory support to assignees and their families throughout all phases of international transfers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual matters, including tax, compensation, benefits, social security, and external vendors.
• Calculate, prepare, and explain compensation and benefits, including hypothetical tax and bonus payments.
• Coordinate relocation support and benefits with home and host location teams in line with APAC mobility guidelines.
• Provide policy guidance to management and HR Business Partners on employee transfer policies.
• Partner with external relocation vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth transfer processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR or mobility consulting, preferably managing international assignments and vendor relationships.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Detail‑oriented, solution‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with mobility/HR systems such as Assignment Pro.
