Mechanical Manager

About the role

IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking a Mechanical Manager to lead technical reviews, design coordination and value engineering for large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects. The role is based on‑site in Petaling Jaya and offers the opportunity to work within a trusted name in the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical technical reviews to ensure design compliance and constructability.
• Coordinate mechanical design activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Drive value engineering initiatives to optimise project cost and performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver projects on schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical engineering within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of design standards, codes and construction practices.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and provide clear guidance to project teams.
