Material Manager – Manufacturing & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Material Manager to join our manufacturing site in Tanjung Malim. In this role you will coordinate material flow, support production planning and help ensure that customer demand is met without disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer demand forecasts and identify potential delivery bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with production planning to align material availability with manufacturing schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels, trigger replenishment orders and manage safety stock.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve material shortages or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate material records and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in material management, supply chain or production planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret demand data.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of EPF regulations and local compliance is a plus.
