Material Handler

About the role

As a Material Handler at Bosch Group’s new semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, you will support the flow of components and finished goods throughout the plant. You will work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure that materials are received, stored, and delivered accurately and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials, components, and finished goods according to work instructions and SAP records.
• Pick, pack, pre‑package, and deliver materials to production points or shipping areas.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, or other material‑handling equipment.
• Perform material movements, goods receipt, goods issue, and inventory transactions using SAP and handheld RF scanners.
• Assist with periodic and cycle inventory counts and resolve material discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and visually managed work areas in line with 5S/6S standards.
• Operate and conduct basic checks on forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, and other handling equipment (license required).
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives related to material flow efficiency and workplace organization.

Required profile

• Minimum SPM qualification (or equivalent high‑school level).
• 0–2 years of experience in a warehouse or material‑handling environment.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull loads as required.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with Bosch’s procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for material management.
• Experience using handheld RF scanners for inventory transactions.
• Forklift operation license and practical knowledge of operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
