Marketing Specialist – Malaysia Region

About the role

We are a global data storage solutions provider seeking a Marketing Specialist to drive brand and product awareness across the Malaysian market. The role involves developing and executing regional marketing strategies to increase user adoption of our solutions and to position our portfolio as the preferred choice for both consumers and enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive marketing plans with clear objectives, target audiences, tactics, content, and ROI measurement.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and influencers, proactively pitching stories and collaborations.
• Organize and manage press conferences, briefings, campaigns, and other marketing events.
• Leverage digital marketing tools and techniques to boost brand visibility.
• Engage directly with clients to gather insights, create compelling customer stories, and produce collateral showcasing success.
• Monitor market trends and customer demands to refine the value proposition.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align marketing initiatives with product roadmaps.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of simplifying complex IT concepts.
• Detail‑oriented, objective‑driven, and able to multitask in high‑pressure environments.
• Team‑player with a collaborative mindset.
• Additional language proficiency in Mandarin, Chinese, or Cantonese is a plus.
• Familiarity with IT, networking, or storage technology industries is advantageous.
