Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

SilTerra Malaysia is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer (or Senior Manufacturing Engineer) to lead all manufacturing activities in a high‑volume wafer production environment. The role is responsible for driving cost reduction, productivity improvements, quality output and safety while supporting the company’s reliability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all manufacturing activities.
• Achieve the lowest manufacturing cost per wafer.
• Oversee daily production and continuous productivity improvement.
• Maximize quality output and address bottlenecks.
• Train and utilize manufacturing technicians and specialists.
• Ensure daily production targets are met.
• Drive productivity improvement initiatives.
• Maintain optimal cycle times.
• Promote safety and discipline on the shop floor.
• Support the company’s quality and reliability objectives and comply with the SilTerra Environmental Management System.

Required profile

• Knowledgeable in high‑volume and aggressive production environments.
• Able to motivate and manage specialists and technicians.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Good team player, hardworking and able to work shifts.
