Manager - Transaction Services

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager for its Transaction Services team in Kuala Lumpur. You will work within the Acquisition Advisory practice, helping leading organisations realise value from mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital market transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence engagements and provide data‑driven insights to support client transaction decisions.
• Assist clients with strategy assessment, target identification, deal structuring, valuation and post‑deal integration.
• Develop and present clear, concise recommendations based on complex financial analysis.
• Coach junior team members, foster a collaborative environment and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Uphold PwC’s code of ethics and professional standards throughout all engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in transaction advisory, financial due diligence or related advisory services.
• Strong background in external audit and a solid understanding of M&A activities.
• Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification preferred.
• Working knowledge of IFRS, Malaysian Companies’ Act 1965 and the Code of Mergers and Takeovers.
