About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager – Methodology to lead audit quality and methodology within its Assurance practice in Kuala Lumpur. The role combines technical audit expertise with leadership, guiding teams to deliver high‑quality, compliant engagements while fostering continuous improvement and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of audit methodology, standards and guidance across the Assurance line of service.
• Own project planning, budgeting, execution and delivery, ensuring timelines and quality expectations are met.
• Coach and mentor audit staff, leveraging individual strengths and providing performance feedback.
• Partner with senior leadership to monitor engagement risk, resolve conflicts and uphold professional and independence standards.
• Identify business opportunities and drive process improvements through technology and innovation.

Required profile

• Experienced auditor or technical specialist with a strong background in audit risk, internal controls and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance and influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity, professional standards and continuous learning.
