Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Bosch manufacturing plant in Bayan Lepas. The role supports the Supervisor/Engineer in daily maintenance of production equipment, focusing on preventive and corrective actions to keep machines running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, equipment, jigs and fixtures.
• Identify root causes of equipment breakdowns and support corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with Production teams to resolve issues and minimise downtime.
• Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and equipment reliability projects.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic and automation‑related problems.
• Assist with PLC‑controlled machine troubleshooting, including HMI, sensors, actuators, servo drives and inverters/VFDs.
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams and machine manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, findings and actions taken.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Electrical or a related technical field.
