Logistics IT Internship – Warehouse Systems

About the role

Manage and implement continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives for warehouse systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Support system‑related improvement projects, including process optimisation and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and implement continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives for warehouse systems.
• Support system‑related improvement projects, including process optimisation and automation.
• Provide hardware support for warehouse operations, troubleshooting scanners, printers and related devices.
• Ensure smooth daily warehouse system operations, monitor performance and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional IT and operations teams for system enhancements and issue resolution.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for system or process failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support SAP/warehouse system transactions, data accuracy and inventory integrity.
• Maintain proper documentation for system processes, changes and improvements.
• Train and guide users on system usage and best practices when required.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations or supply‑chain concepts (preferred but not mandatory).
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems such as SAP & Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, simple analysis).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Responsible, detail‑oriented and proactive attitude.
