Legislation Content Specialist – APAC

About the role

We are seeking a Legislation Content Specialist for the APAC region to act as a subject‑matter expert and editorial coordinator across multiple legislative projects. You will ensure high‑quality, AI‑ready legal content that meets product and customer needs while driving agile and AI‑first editorial practices.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as SME for legislation across APAC, maintaining knowledge of legislative approaches in key jurisdictions.
• Define and implement a content strategy for each supported APAC country aligned with global priorities.
• Identify future legislation content opportunities and make recommendations.
• Coordinate editorial expertise across projects to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance.
• Lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives) and embed agile methodologies.
• Champion AI‑first editorial practices using AI tools for summarisation, classification, enrichment and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Editorial, Technology, Product, Commercial) and balance editorial integrity with technology‑driven efficiencies.
• Translate legislative and editorial requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex content challenges and provide expert guidance to improve customer outcomes.

Required profile

• LLB (or equivalent) for at least one APAC legal jurisdiction.
• Minimum five years of experience in legal research, editorial roles or legislative content management.
• Proven ability to lead agile ceremonies and apply agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated AI fluency with practical experience using AI tools, LLMs and automation in editorial workflows.
