Legal Editor

About the role

The Legal Editor will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and AI‑readiness of case law and legal research content across Southeast Asian jurisdictions. You will work closely with product and technology teams to deliver structured, searchable, and analytically valuable legal materials for LexisNexis platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Source, analyse, edit, and validate legal case law and related materials.
• Monitor legal developments, judicial trends, and emerging issues across SEA jurisdictions.
• Maintain editorial accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of assigned products.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support editorial decisions.
• Optimize content for digital research platforms and AI‑assisted solutions.
• Support AI/GenAI readiness through metadata consistency, taxonomy alignment, and semantic enrichment.
• Collaborate with technology and product teams on intelligent content initiatives.
• Manage editorial workflows, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and meet publication schedules.
• Identify and implement process improvements for scalability and efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong legal editorial expertise and knowledge of Southeast Asian legal systems.
• Experience with legal research, content validation, and metadata management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with digital publishing workflows and AI‑enabled legal products.
