About the role

The Lead, Strategic Communications will be responsible for shaping and delivering the communication strategy of the University of Southampton Malaysia. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the university’s brand, stakeholder engagement and public affairs.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the university’s strategic communications plan.
  • Coordinate internal and external communication activities.
  • Manage media relations and public affairs initiatives.
  • Oversee content creation for various communication channels.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in communications, public relations or related fields.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
