Laboratory Coordinator

About the role

The Laboratory Coordinator ensures the technical laboratory operates safely, reliably and efficiently. You will own the systems and processes, coordinating across engineering, facilities, HSE, quality, IT and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate laboratory infrastructure readiness, including utilities, ESD, IT/networking, access, safety and equipment installation.
• Manage delivery, installation, commissioning and acceptance of new laboratory equipment.
• Define, implement and maintain laboratory processes, SOPs and work instructions.
• Establish preventive maintenance and calibration activities and oversee equipment status, repairs and technical support.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, ESD, quality and audit requirements, and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Measurement Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Experience in an engineering laboratory, test environment or production/fab setting.
• Strong organizational, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Measurement and automated test equipment.
• Equipment installation, commissioning and qualification.
• ESD, HSE, calibration, MSA and quality systems knowledge.
• Preventive maintenance and equipment management.
• Technical purchasing, logistics and supplier coordination.
• Basic understanding of electronics, measurement hardware and software.
