About the role
We are seeking a fluent Khmer‑English interpreter to join the International Patient Centre at Sunway Medical Centre in Bandar Sunway, Selangor. You will facilitate clear communication between Khmer‑speaking patients and our medical team, ensuring accurate exchange of information in both spoken and written form.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret verbal and written interactions between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assist with translation of medical documents, appointment details, and treatment instructions.
- Support patients throughout their visit, addressing language barriers in a courteous and professional manner.
Required profile
- Fluent in Khmer and English (spoken, reading, writing).
- Ability to interpret accurately, with an advantage in handling medical or technical terminology.
