Junior/Mid Backend Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior to Mid‑level Backend Developer to join our remote team. You will help build scalable backend systems, APIs and integrations that support a variety of web, mobile, AI, Web3 and payment projects. The position offers a competitive monthly salary and the flexibility of working from anywhere in Malaysia. You will receive a monthly compensation between RM 4,667 and RM 5,250, reflecting the level of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services that are reliable and scalable.
• Create and document RESTful APIs and integration points.
• Collaborate with product and front‑end teams on web, mobile, AI, Web3 and payment solutions.
• Implement and maintain integrations for payment processing.
• Develop API endpoints to support mobile and web applications.
• Contribute to AI‑related backend services and Web3 functionalities.

Required profile

• Junior to mid‑level experience in backend development.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Comfortable working with diverse technology stacks across web, mobile, AI, Web3 and payment domains.
