JDE Consultant – ERP Specialist

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a JDE Consultant to provide functional expertise on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 for its Kuala Lumpur operations. The role supports month‑end closing, resolves production issues and contributes to system enhancements, helping the company deliver trusted services worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 to Bureau Veritas users.
• Collaborate with the JDE Stream Lead and DxT Manager on enhancements, issue and change requests, writing functional and semi‑technical design specifications.
• Support month‑end closing processes during the financial close each month.
• Investigate and troubleshoot production sales and distribution/integration issues, performing data analysis and working with business users to resolve root causes.
• Conduct deep analysis of issues and coordinate escalation with technical and maintenance teams.
• Create and update documentation related to support activities and business processes.
• Participate in analysis, design and value‑addition activities for system improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with JD Edwards ERP, preferably with the Sales and Distribution module.
• Proven experience providing support to international users.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.

• Ability to write functional specifications for local changes and interfaces.
• Proficient in SQL for data queries and analysis.
