IT Executive – School IT Support

About the role

The Asia Pacific Schools in Subang is seeking an IT Executive to provide technical support, maintain network infrastructure, and assist with IT projects, ensuring reliable services for staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective support to staff and students, resolving IT issues and supporting school events.
• Monitor, configure, and maintain system and network infrastructure, including routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and computer labs.
• Ensure data security, perform regular backups, and manage antivirus updates.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware such as computers, printers, projectors, smartboards, telephony (3CX), CCTV, and networking equipment.
• Manage IT inventory, software licenses, and recommend hardware/software solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in ICT or related discipline.
• 3–5 years experience in systems administration, helpdesk or network support.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Office 365 and Google Workspace administration.
• Hardware diagnostics and repair for PCs, Chromebooks, and servers.
• Network infrastructure knowledge (routing protocols, subnetting, IP management, VLANs).
• Cybersecurity measures and endpoint protection.
• Backup solutions (3‑2‑1), IT asset management.
• Remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, MS QuickAssist).
• Fortigate Firewall configuration.
