Intern – Invoice to Cash

About the role

This internship supports the Invoice to Cash (ITC) function within BASF's Finance, Controlling & Audit team. You will gain hands‑on experience in daily cash‑flow processes, KPI reporting, and audit preparation while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily Invoice to Cash tasks and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Assist in preparing ITC KPI reports for management review.
• Generate audit documentation and support year‑end audit activities.
• Perform customer reconciliations upon request from auditors or customers.
• Provide high‑quality service to both internal teams and external partners.
• Undertake additional finance‑related support activities as needed.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Available for a 6‑month internship.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong team player with a high level of maturity and independence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
