Inside Sales Executive, Ocean

About the role

We are looking for an Inside Sales Executive to join the Ocean Division of Alfa Laval in Shah Alam. The role supports customers with technical quotations, product knowledge and proactive sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and services.
• Investigate and identify parts and products required by customers.
• Create and actively follow up transactional quotes.
• Identify and pursue upselling opportunities.
• Ensure customers understand the proposed value and that it matches their needs.
• Use CRM tools and other systems consistently to support the sales process and inform decisions.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated team player with strong networking ability in an international, cross‑cultural environment.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a degree in Marine Engineering is a plus.
• Experience with marine equipment, after‑sales, spare parts or service is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and high customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Knowledge of marine equipment and technical specifications.
