About the role

Key responsibilities

• Establish clear expectations and routines for students.
• Serve as a Form Teacher and create a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues in planning, moderation, and curriculum development.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and curriculum matters.
• Lead and contribute to school events, initiatives, and improvement planning while upholding safeguarding and wellbeing standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGDT, PGCEi); a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Proven track record of strong classroom practice and positive academic achievements.
• Deep understanding of effective pedagogy and curriculum development in Humanities subjects.
• Ability to interpret and use data to drive improvement.
• Commitment to safeguarding, inclusivity, and student wellbeing.
