HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead the full spectrum of human resources operations for CPI (Penang). This on‑site role is responsible for ensuring compliance, managing payroll, driving recruitment, and fostering positive employee relations while overseeing workforce management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all HR operations, including policy implementation and day‑to‑day administration.
• Ensure compliance with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards and local labour regulations.
• Manage payroll processing and related financial controls.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment activities, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Handle employee relations issues and promote a constructive work environment.
• Coordinate workforce planning and management to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing comprehensive HR functions.
• Strong knowledge of RBA compliance and local employment law.
• Demonstrated ability to manage payroll and recruitment processes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for employee relations and workforce coordination.
