HR Generalist & Talent Acquisition Manager

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on HR professional to manage HR activities for Ad Terra’s Kuala Lumpur office, with a balanced focus on Talent Acquisition and HR operations. Reporting directly to the Senior HR Manager and working closely with the management team, you will serve as the local HR point of reference, supporting managers and taking ownership of day‑to‑day people matters.

Key responsibilities

• Own HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, including contracts, amendments, documentation, records and reporting.
• Coordinate payroll, benefits, visas and HR administration with external service providers while ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour law.
• Partner with local managers on people decisions, organisational structure and workforce planning.
• Lead full‑cycle recruitment for technical, project‑based and specialist profiles, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and agencies, and track recruitment KPIs.
• Support onboarding, offboarding and workforce coordination in line with business requirements.
• Develop professional networks within the oil & gas, energy and industrial ecosystem to support hiring needs.
• Align local HR practices with headquarters, ensuring consistency in policies, processes and metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8–10 years of HR experience combining strong talent acquisition expertise with solid HR generalist and operational skills.
• Experience in oil & gas, energy, engineering or industrial environments.
• Proven track record in full‑cycle recruitment of technical and specialist profiles.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour law and HR best practices.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
