HR Business Partner, Malaysia and Singapore

About the role

The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to managers across Malaysia and Singapore, driving people initiatives that align with business objectives and fostering an inclusive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of the Malaysia and Singapore businesses and support execution of HR initiatives aligned with APAC priorities.
• Participate in leadership forums and Quarterly Business Reviews to provide people insights and influence decision‑making.
• Provide guidance on employment matters, organisational changes, workforce planning and maintain accurate job profiles.
• Facilitate talent and performance management processes, including EDRs, PEP, goal setting and development planning.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for assigned roles, manage offer negotiations and onboarding activities.
• Support total rewards activities such as compensation reviews, market benchmarking and benefit administration.
• Manage HR operations across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with local legislation and accurate HR reporting.
• Drive employee engagement and wellness programs, analyse survey results and partner with leaders on action plans.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of progressive HR generalist or business partnering experience.
• Proven experience managing recruitment end‑to‑end and supporting managers across multiple HR disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience working in a multinational, multicultural environment.
• Familiarity with HR systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional Asian language skills are a plus.
