Head of Performance Management - Life Insurance (Finance)

About the role

The Head of Performance Management for Life Insurance (Finance) will lead a team of finance experts, providing advanced analysis and modelling for strategic initiatives. The role requires strong internal and external stakeholder management to achieve business objectives while maintaining robust internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of experienced finance professionals and deliver advanced financial analysis and modelling on strategic initiatives.
• Prepare reporting, messages and financial analysis to brief leadership on projected outcomes of initiatives.
• Monitor the internal control framework, ensure compliance with external regulators and lead the creation of policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
• Assess and improve finance business processes in collaboration with local Controllers.
• Liaise with external agencies to ensure Zurich meets its commitments and coordinate any changes in regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance teams in a life‑insurance environment.
• Actuarial background in life insurance or investor relations is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence internal and external partners.

• Financial planning, forecasting and modelling.
• Insurance finance and actuarial concepts.
• Finance operational management.
• Understanding of the financial regulatory environment.
