General Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven General Manager to lead the overall business and operations of our food manufacturing facility in Iskandar Puteri. The role reports to senior leadership and is responsible for driving performance, ensuring product quality, and overseeing the end‑to‑end supply chain. You will be accountable for strategic planning, financial results, and building a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve production, quality, and financial targets.
• Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance and sales.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
• Manage budgets, cost‑control initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and distribution partners to optimise the supply chain.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across all facilities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior management experience in food manufacturing or related production environments.
• Strong track record of achieving operational and financial objectives.
• Experience managing large‑scale production facilities with a workforce of 100+ employees.
• Demonstrated ability to implement cost‑saving measures.
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented setting.
