Fire Protection Technician

About the role

The Fire Protection Technician will install, maintain, and inspect fire protection systems for clients based in Pasir Gudang and surrounding locations. This is a full‑time, on‑site position offering hands‑on experience in a safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission fire protection equipment such as alarms, extinguishers, and suppression systems.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
• Travel to job sites using a company vehicle; overtime work is encouraged.
• Provide daily allowances for assignments conducted outside the local area.

Required profile

• Relevant certifications or willingness to obtain training (e.g., NIOSH, FECP).
• Ability to work overtime and travel as needed.
• Valid driver’s license for company‑provided vehicle use.
• Commitment to safety standards and continuous learning.
