Finance Manager / Accountant – Build Finance Function from Scratch

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager/Accountant to establish and run the finance function for a unique integrated property that combines a hotel, food & beverage outlets and a wellness centre in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting directly to the General Manager and founders, you will have full ownership of financial processes and the opportunity to grow into a Finance Director as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the entire finance function from the ground up, including accounting, reporting, budgeting and cash‑flow management.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the hotel, F&B and wellness operations.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators across all business units.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the GM and founders to support decision‑making and growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance or accounting, preferably within hospitality, F&B or wellness environments.
• Ability to work independently, set up processes and take full ownership of financial responsibilities.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
