About the role

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our accounting team at Portever Shipping. In this role you will support daily financial operations, focusing on payments processing, electronic invoicing and account reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

  • Process vendor and customer payments accurately and timely.
  • Manage electronic invoices, ensuring proper entry and validation in the system.
  • Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Assist with month‑end closing activities and prepare supporting documentation.

Required profile

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on‑site team environment.
