Facility Manager – Plant Operations

About the role

The Facility Manager will oversee the Facility Management and Security functions at Bosch's new PgP5 semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will ensure reliable, safe, compliant, and cost‑effective operation of the plant’s infrastructure, facilities, and security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Facility Management team, including plant maintenance, to achieve KPIs and maintain uninterrupted infrastructure supply.
• Manage technical infrastructure, building services, and ancillary services such as cleaning and catering.
• Act as the primary contact for internal customers (e.g., production) regarding facility requirements and operational topics.
• Ensure all facilities comply with authority obligations, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate maintenance activities in line with Bosch guidelines and local building by‑laws.
• Supervise outsourced service providers according to company policies.
• Coordinate and support facility operations for PgP5 plant activities.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead a Facility Management and plant maintenance team.
• Experience ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal customers and service providers.
• Capability to plan, supervise, and coordinate facility projects and extensions.
