Facility Management Internship – Civil Engineering

About the role

Join Bosch Group’s newest expansion, the PgP5 semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan, Penang, as a Facility Management intern focused on civil engineering assets. You will support the upkeep of building infrastructure, assist in inspections, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth facility operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of building infrastructure, facilities, and civil engineering assets.
• Support facility inspections and identify maintenance or repair requirements.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements.
• Help plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support space management, renovation, and facility improvement projects.
• Prepare and update maintenance records, reports, drawings, and documentation.
• Participate in facility audits, safety inspections, and compliance activities.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting building and infrastructure‑related issues.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, building management, construction management, or a related field.
• Strong interest in facility management and building maintenance operations.
• Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn, able to work independently and in a team.
