Facilities & Security Manager

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall Sepang and Putrajaya site facilities, including preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with NAA standards (cleanliness, fire protection, identification, safety).
• Control and record access to AMCS and SAE facilities, ensuring compliance with Airport authority requirements, especially MAHB Pass.
• Ensure adherence to national environmental requirements (EQA Act 127) and proper waste management according to Department of Environment guidelines.
• Oversee all facilities management domains such as plants, waste management, scrap, and company car rental.
• Maintain operational fire detection and protection systems, and ensure fire extinguishers are serviced per manufacturer and company policy.
• Respond to audit reports and implement timely corrective action plans.
• Coordinate and monitor service level agreements with facilities management providers, ensuring key performance indicators are met.
• Manage vendor contracts, support procurement, evaluate suppliers, and handle contract termination when necessary.
• Support department projects and renovations, playing an active role in health, safety, and environment compliance with DOSH and DOE requirements.
• Participate in the Emergency Response Team and liaise with the Central Environment team.
• Provide administrative support for business processes such as courier services, stationery management, and event support.
• Work closely with Finance to prepare and control budgets, monitor and forecast facilities and security costs.
• Assist the AMCS General Manager with enterprise risk management and other required tasks.
• Establish and maintain the Site Security Plan, assess and manage security risks via a Site Security Risk Register.
• Lead security and crisis management for AMCS and SAE, coordinating activities with central and other Airbus entities in Malaysia.
• Implement and enforce site security procedures in line with Airbus security policies and applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
• Uphold Airbus values, leadership model, and code of conduct, promoting awareness throughout the organization.
