About the role
This internship supports the coordination and planning of local distribution and warehouse activities, focusing on SAP transport management and compliance with BASF’s supply‑chain standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform hub domestic delivery services and manage day‑to‑day transport and warehouse operations.
- Ensure delivery KPIs such as on‑time delivery, trucking booking and post‑goods issue are met.
- Collaborate with customer service, import/export, plant, business units, forwarders and transporters.
- Prepare monthly reports (non‑conformance, transport management, stock) and support yearly inventory counts.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain or a related field.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong intercultural communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- SAP (preferred).
