Digitalization Intern

About the role

Join the Global Technology Unit at BASF Shared Services Center Kuala Lumpur as a Digitalization Intern. You will work alongside the solutions delivery team on a variety of digital and IT projects, gaining hands‑on experience in citizen development, full‑stack development and AI‑enabled solutions within a shared‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of digital and IT solutions, including coding, configuration and integration tasks.
• Assist in testing, quality assurance and documentation of deliverables.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and help resolve issues in deployed solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Required profile

• University student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Business Technology or a related field.
• Availability for a 3‑6 month internship.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.
• Interest in AI and digital transformation.
