Desktop Support Specialist II – Kuala Lumpur

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Desktop Support Specialist II to join our Kuala Lumpur team. You will provide on‑site and remote assistance to around 100 internal users, ensuring their laptops, desktops and mobile devices run smoothly. The role combines day‑to‑day troubleshooting with project work, inventory management and support for a global IT organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide desktop support to users in the Kuala Lumpur office and remote users as needed.
• Configure, image and ship laptops for local and remote staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops and iPhones.
• Manage and track IT inventory, including procurement of equipment.
• Support mobile devices, primarily iPhone, including setup and troubleshooting.
• Participate in project work, reporting and metric collection.
• Monitor IT infrastructure using hardware and software monitoring tools, identifying and resolving operational issues.
• Set up, configure and deploy equipment to end users.
• Proactively improve device health and address potential issues before they impact users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, technical certifications or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in desktop support.
• Ability to work independently and be a self‑starter.
• Willingness to work five days a week on‑site with a hybrid arrangement after probation.
