Design and Technology Teacher

About the role

Tenby Schools Setia Eco Park International in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Design and Technology Teacher to lead the D&T curriculum for students aged 3‑18. The role involves creating engaging learning experiences, supporting student wellbeing, and contributing to the school’s continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Design & Technology lessons across KS3, IGCSE and A‑Level, including food and textiles.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to foster a safe and inspiring learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher (minimum PGCE or equivalent) with experience or readiness to teach IGCSE Design & Technology.
• Passionate about safeguarding, student wellbeing and inclusive education.
• Strong communicator who works well in a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Onshape.
