Demand & Supply Planner – Nespresso (Malaysia)

About the role

The Demand & Supply Planner will own the end‑to‑end demand and supply planning for Nespresso’s finished‑goods in Malaysia, ensuring product availability, freshness and cost efficiency across retail, e‑commerce and boutique channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an 18‑month demand plan by analysing sales history, market trends, marketing events and competitor information.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial teams to manage phase‑in/phase‑out schedules and challenge forecasts.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent out‑of‑stock or beyond‑best‑by‑date situations and coordinate urgent shipments when needed.
• Identify excess inventory, drive SKU rationalisation and optimise boutique auto‑replenishment.
• Continuously improve demand plan accuracy and eliminate systematic forecast bias through process enhancements.
• Execute Monthly Business Planning outcomes and oversee logistics execution for imports, exports and warehouse value‑add activities.
• Analyse product sell‑through rates and support logistics service providers to ensure timely campaign launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in demand and supply planning, preferably in FMCG or retail.
• Strong analytical ability with experience handling large, complex data sets.
• Proven track record managing Sales & Operations Monthly Planning processes and stakeholder coordination.
• Understanding of sales operations and commercial processes within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
