About the role

The Customer Service Executive will be the first point of contact for enquiry management, delivering responsive and customer‑focused service within Inchcape’s maritime network in Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to enquiries within the defined SLA and create pro‑forma Disbursement Accounts (PDA).
  • Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and ensure PDA accuracy.
  • Source port details from shared drives and liaise with local offices for accurate information.
  • Track and monitor all enquiries in the system and follow up on issued PDAs.
  • Monitor port call communications, address pending issues, and hand over won business to local offices for operations planning.

Required profile

  • Minimum 1‑2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the marine or shipping industry.
  • Knowledge of port operations and familiarity with maritime credit terms and funding policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Working knowledge of CRM or similar operating systems.
